In Dawn Renè Austin’s Before Dark, a group of friends gather for a celebrational getaway but learns the real fatal reason for their trip.

Cancer survivor Caprice and her husband Calvin Wade with their friends stay at a beautiful, secluded house for a weekend of fellowship. Still, things take a turn for the worse when everyone’s secrets are revealed.

Dynamic acting, original scores, and a gritty storyline set this thriller apart.

Summary

Do you have a dream to work in media production? Join our team and put your creative skills to work as you work in multiple areas of the production process. You will exercise your multitasking abilities as you assist in by performing any task required, whether it is handling the lighting, conducting research or running errands. You will have the opportunity to build relationship, developing experience and strengthening interpersonal skills such as time management and performance optimization.

Have an amazing experience as part of our production team and employ your organizational skills as you coordinate different aspects of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Assist production staff in developing relevant stories for television, film, online streaming and other platforms.

• Research topics using a variety of sources, including video archives, the internet, library archives and others as needed.

• Communicate with writers, directors, managers and other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the project.

• Support staff by answering phones, taking detailed notes during meetings, and performing other tasks as required.

• Run errands such as purchasing supplies, props, equipment, food and other necessary items for the project.

• Provide assistance as needed in all components of the production, including sound, lighting, camera, editing and postproduction.

• Perform other duties as requested by staff to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in a proficient manner that adheres to the quality expected from the company.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

· Proven problem-solving skills

· Team player

· Flexible

Preferred:

· Some experience in film production or has the aptitude to learn

· Excellent verbal and communication skills

· Working knowledge of social media channels

· Strong organizational skills

Shooney covers heavy themes such as sexual abuse, suicide, sex trafficking, and other minor themes.

Shooney: A Suicide in Three Acts explores the fatal consequences of abuse and the domino effect of suicide—an exploration of how the continuous victimization of women creates an internalized desire for self-erasure. The story highlights redemption is found through self-care and pushing forward through diversity. The main protagonist is a male to disrupt the often highlighted narratives for those many ignore. It reveals the hidden tale behind every great origin story.
